Autonomous racing sits at the intersection of robotics, controls, and multi-agent planning, and student teams like the one formed across MIT, Pitt, and RW put those disciplines to work on a competitive track. Pit Stop to the Podium, a virtual event hosted by Waymo, brings those leaders together in a single conversation about where autonomous driving technology stands at the university level. The session also covers practical ways to participate, whether you are early in your studies or already deep into a professional career in mobility, product, or engineering. Topics range from vehicle automation and motion planning to human-robot interaction, and the format makes it easy to follow from a desk, a lab, or a pit lane.
